Under The Lights Poem by steve lay

Under The Lights

UNDER THE LIGHTS

Bell to bell, toe to toe
Intensity, foe to foe
Coming down the aisle
Stepping through the ropes
Soaring through the sky
In the blink of an eye
Slither with the snakes
Which move do we make
Flying through the air
Diving over the top rope
Reaching for a new hope
It's all on under the lights
Lace up the boots
Tape up the fists
Wait for my music
Unleash the power
Ready to step out
Under the lights
Sweat is flying
Some one trying
Some digging deep
Take the gold, opponents weep
Pin shoulders to the mat
Submission make you tap out
All going on under the lights.
