Uneasy Feeling Poem by Bill Simmons

Uneasy Feeling

Rating: 5.0

She is laying beside me
But she is somewhere else
This uneasy feeling
Tells me I'm by myself

This uneasy feeling
Is tearing at my heart
She is sleeping
But dreaming we're apart

I touch her warm soft body
And she softly speaks
Someone else's name
As the tears roll down my cheeks

I hold her in my arms
So very close to me
I'm knowing I'm losing
And a chill comes over me

A stranger holds my darling
And is taking away my wife
My reasons for living
My reasons for life

I feel so all alone
With her laying next to me
This uneasy feeling
Is taking a hold on me

This deep empty feeling
Is tearing out my heart
My darling is sleeping
But dreaming we're apart.
