Unexpected Visitors Poem by Manonton Dalan

Unexpected Visitors

My toes pointing direction
my head designing motion
my eyes searching horizon
where are those excitements
teasing every nerve endings
oh! could my body withstand
or succumb to state of sleep
and wander to birth of dream

yellow jacket came buzzing by
landed on my bag stayed a while
maybe sugar wasn't there to sip
fly away with my fear of sting
some more came searching my bag
i remember i have chocolate there
they found; squeeze to tiny opening
i am watching instead of dreaming
