Unfaded Poem by Mark Trajano

Unfaded

Quite some time has passed
yet the Pearl's brilliance is unwavering.
Polished by the past
her touch so smooth, smile simply shimmering.
Sitting silently,
in the vastness of the ocean she sways
so harmoniously.
In rain or shine positive she stays.
Her essence is strong
unlike any other I have witnessed,
makes me burst 'to song,
being in her presence one has been blessed.

Some stories were shared
between the magnificent Pearl and fish.
The clock even dared
to defy laws just to grant them the wish
of staying longer,
for the night is all they truly trust and need
to cherish laughter;
in the waves they danced, and loved what's journeyed.
Last of the minutes
reality seemed to fade, turns to dream,
her warm heart completes
the flow of feelings freeing youthful stream.
