Never knowing what tomorrow brings
It is truly our blessing
Letting life in as it unfolds

The cosmic design
To only hold onto what we can
For those precious moments
Feeling on top of the world

Close your eyes to see it
What we are meant to be
All that the world can hold
For us to fold into
The tapestry of our life

Belonging to the universe
One with each other
If only that brief second

To share our burdens
With one another
Fitting in
Shared experiences
Part of the bigger picture
Of life as we know it
