Strength and new found confidence
self-esteem and pride,
gifts given unto me,
which for myself I had denied.

The giver may not even know
what she has done for me,
but she forever changed me,
in the mirror what I see.

I know not where this giver went,
I cannot thank enough
for teachings unforgettable,
of happiness and love

My giver's sudden absence
shows me more I need to learn,
patience, grace, humility
should she choose to return...
