Ungratful Poem by ghaleb hamade

Ungratful

I slaughtered the angel of dignity on your alter
I dried oceans of purity to baptize your heart
I forgave you raping my smiles with your anger
I wrapped a soul in dreams Dracula’s fangs tore it apart

Offered aged noble love for nothing but a smile
Or an innocent kiss angels lips on wolfs claws
Opened my wings hugged you like Mosses in the Nile
Only for fun with my blood your devil draws

All my life dried drops through my eyes to revive
A dead thrones garden no flowers no fruits
Ages of drought a cursed zombie dead alive
Angels seek love vampires look for recruits

Not in this life I am an angel you can not bite
Nor your bed where millions fell excites me
Noble blood is mine mixed with wine of Christ
Never contaminated you’re a spit in an endless sea

A carless pen refuses to write in full your name
After it used to think it is the most beautiful song
A virgin paper with five letters died in shame
Angry screaming why let your pen rape me that’s wrong

I promise now to erase your name and never again
Order my pen to bleed or cause my papers any pain
A beautiful name written in tears and blood is a stain
Nothing can erase a sad memory from a mans brain
After all it was love in the blood running in every vain
