Unheard Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

Unheard

Rating: 3.0

The lament shall go
Unheard
Did the rose ever shed a tear
It withers into petals
On its own

The wave of the stem was the wind
Spring has come
Asking for leave now

Nightingale has the plaint
Why sing it not
Unless from a broken heart

1] Did the rose ever shed a tear / It withers into petals 2] Nightingale has the plaint / Why sing it not / Unless from a broken heart Did we try to hear the crying of any rose any time during our human civilization? Did we! Rather we have tried to transform our crying heart within its petal. Thats due to our selfishness. Actually we have not such patience to know others by its origin, very much eager to know ourselves to other. Well written. Thank you. Regards, pranab 10
