Universal Remote Poem by Joyce Rugg

Universal Remote

Green's just the color of money,
And stars are setin pavement
The night sky offers no mystery,
But the tv takes care of that

We envy the Earth and its children
For the things that we don't possess,
So we seek to control them all
We are the inferior best

Natural involves silicone
And our own skin still won't suffice
We call the animals viscious
And we're the ones taking lives
