Unknowns Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Unknowns

Rating: 3.5

fear of an individual'
unknowns; of the stranger'
smile; of the neighbor'
dog, of your own shadow; of the
next days morn, for a child unbourne
of the intimacy a close relationship grows…
Old is this, this fear of unknowns
unknowns as familiars as bacteria
as disease, as death…
unknowing then is that most feared 'them'
no see em', no feel em', those next cards
unturned awaiting your decision too
pay to play, to passe', to laissez faire
your move or avoid those shadows or
live alone in your dark and weary life…
Life; life? dull and dreary; weary, eerie
are you yet teary eyed and done?
Unknowns; alone these stand about, bored
to the last breaths of your cowardly ways and skills…
and lack of intestinal fortitude and living' lust
for adventure and skills; empty skulled lesser apes
have mores, eat s'mores, snore and fart and belch! ! !
Oh, that feminine social thingy; how stupid is this?
Beastly! Teasingly stupid for an individual
body is butt, head, water and a few other elements…
Only a soul, an unknown; makes the difference
tween animal and so called human being
beings human stupid beasts barely able
too avoid their own scary shadows! ! !
This being said; prove me the frak wrong! ! !
STUPID, BARELY ABOVE MONKEY BEASTS…
