I tried to let you know
I tried to let you go
I know my feelings showed
You just didn't know.

You just never looked at me
You simply wouldn't see
The way that I love you
And all you mean to me.

I thought that you and I
Were meant to have everything
I knew that I would die
If I turn out to be dreaming

I tried to make you look my way
But the day has reached its end
You are still very far away
And I'm still deep in pretend.
