Unopposed Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Unopposed

She invents the circumstances.
Very little of what she says is true.
Embellishing experience,
To demean as a defense.
And relying on ignorance,
To charm and convince.
And fools standby in awe...
To applaud her with support.
As demons await,
To feast upon those
Who allowed these transgressions,
Unopposed!
