Unrequited Poem by Lilyann Monahan

Unrequited

Give the unrequited all the space they need,
It will help you to heal yourself, and not allow yourself to bleed.
They liked you chasing them, some want to help,
but you never know which it is.
Personally I don't want to live without him,
but know it's all like a quiz.
I can let go, if that's what I must do,
to ease my broken heart,
my soul is a story all in it's own,
I never thought we would part.
