Unrequited Poem by Shreya Jani

Unrequited

Rating: 3.0

I love you dearest love with all my heart
but this heart that I love with is full of fear
If I rid my self of this darkness
I shall rid my self of you
so I hold on tight to you my dear heart.

I love you since I fear love
as separation after union is inevitable
so being with you unrequited I guess
I am where I fear the most
It makes breathing easy so I hold on my dear heart

the beginning already smells of the endings
So I don't have to second guess the future
just play with dreams I spin are my comfort
I fear love the most
thus I hold on to you tight my dear heart.

Such love is shame such love is cowardice
the logic of sanity may scream out loud
but I cling to loves disgrace with joy
Joy that is in my heart
will be by your side always in my dreams my dear heart.

Indignity must not be embraced in the name of love...love gives your freedom back....it make you happy ever.....Thanks.
