Unrestrained Poem by John Dillenger II

Unrestrained

Sunlight filters through
my window,
piercing the harsh darkness
that's harbored within.
When your dreams twist, swinging
just so.
That's when the dreams
truly begin.
Detached from confinement
of want or fear,
it becomes the strangeness
within your skull.
Dreams that can bring
both heart and tear.
Dreams from a place
both void and null.
Yet filled with thought,
Unrestrained.
