Unspoken Poem by Tessa Eichhorst

Unspoken

Standing on the edge, hoping to one day
dive in. Unforunately, I'm scared of what's
waiting on the other end. One day I'll choose
to give my all, but for now my emotions are
running in the wind like leaves in the fall.

I'm not scared of rejections, being tossed
aside, or not chosen. I'm afraid that whom
I choose won't be enough. I'm scared of what
in my life will be left to be done, and if my heart
has thoughtfully chosen this 'one'.

The one to whom with my life will have endless
laughter, abundant love, and a life full of children's
loving hugs. I'm scared of the unknowns, the
what's to comes. O battling all future storms
alone, because I'm that person no one can
seem to love.

I'm standing on the edge, hoping to jump in.
I just hope when I climb out, I'll realize who should
be the one my heart forever stands with.
