Unspoken Love Poem by Athee Peter

Unspoken Love

Rating: 4.8

I curled behind and melted
Before a smily lovely face,
Whose eyes greeted mine
In my equal bus;
No word or touch met us she and I,
Only in smiling stares we did cross,
Me eyed she wore a beauty face
So full in shape she soothing-
Away my heart and beauty stole!
Methought and fought in vain,
In wonder, in pain,
I couldn't say that day,
Day after and everyday-
That she was beautiful;
The bystanders to my heart aye
The eyes that made me see,
Only if she could read my eyes,
She'd know how much I liked her!
Remember I met her in a bus,
Yes with a greeted smile.

Lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned. A thing of beauty is a joy for ever - John Keats. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
