Unsporting Poem by Ima Ryma

Unsporting

There's always been the theory that
The U.S. powers that then were
Knew Pearl Harbor would be struck at,
Assuring that war would occur.
Japan should have declared war first,
And then proceeded to attack,
Like there were rules for war dispersed.
So the U.S. declared war back.
Since Japan had not played war nice,
The U.S. years later did opt
For a new war rule with high price.
On Japan the A bombs were dropped.

Since, the U.S. has learned that war
Really has no rules anymore.
