Until I Met You Poem by Margaret Everard

Until I Met You

Rating: 4.5

I never used to cry
Never shed a tear
I never had to try
I never showed my fear

I' no longer afraid to sing
Or dance around the floor
Yet I'm terrified to spread my wings
And soar right out the door

None of this happened before
Though I smiled back then, too
But now I cry even more
And it never happened until I met you.
