Untitled Poem by Carriann MacDonald

Untitled

On a cold winter's night
the sky so crisp and clear,
darkness seeming so gentle.
Bring comfort to the lonely hearts.
With the stars surrounding
the wondrous moon,
whispering only the promise of a dream.
One star seeming to shine
brighter than all the rest,
as it catches your eye.
Becoming almost mesmerized
you make your wish.
If you believe with all your heart
than anything is possible,
for dreams do come true.
Your heart will rejoice in song,
your soul will begin to dance.
The moon and stars
are listening always, because
without hope there are no dreams
and without dreams are only cold
and lonely nights without you.
