Untitled Poem by Betty Stewart

Untitled

He happily inhabits water loving mounds
And thrives in deep shades of rich
Bronze shaped with gentle curves for
A brief parade
As a riot of summer colors brings
An informal but exciting display of
A classical dance of early spring
To unveil towering stems of scattering
Colors in his watery den.
