Untitled 3 Poem by Brian Sonberg

Untitled 3

Fear of shadows leads me
home along the darkest streets
forgetting makes me flee
Florence, my old forgetful friend
Just you, me, a bottle of red
and our memories
scattered down ancient alleyways
echoing footsteps make me
feel less alone
