I've built it up inside through the years
Take this pain away from me
Cause I can't handle it anymore
Cause I need to be free from it all
Take these tears from my eyes
Cause I don't need to cry anymore
I need someone by my side
Holding me tight every night
But I don't think I can trust anyone
After all I've been through
All the hits I've taken
All the bruises that were left on me
Do you see this broken heart
No matter how hard you try it won't be fixed
I've been so abused through the years
No one can see what's been done to me
All of it is inside of me
I'm so alone and forever will be
Cause I can't trust anyone
Even though I want to
But its even hard to trust myself
Do you see the scars all over me
From knifes from different objects lying around
I need and want to be saved
So please somebody who has the patience to work with me
Come and save me tonight before I die
Cause I don't know how much more I can hang on to
