forever the corners of the mouth glued in a pinched attempt
a lie, a beacon of falsehood, a deceit of the truth
the reflection of what once was, what could have been, but will never be
drowning, stuttering, gasping for freedom
she falls
a woman now monster, a monster disguised as a woman
the woman stuck
the monster free
both drowning under pressure of what is supposed to be
