Untouched Genius Poem by Stephen Howard

Untouched Genius

The crack of the unbroken spine,35 years
untouched.
This piece of genius was never held,
never explored.
No smiles or tears produced.
From this book that I hold so dear in my hand.

The pages fall to the ground.
70 times around the sun.
Yet I always find a new pun.
