Unveiled Poem by Thomas L. Slater

Unveiled

Rating: 5.0

What drives a man to bare his soul
To put in words with pen he holds?
Emotions that within abide
He usually attempts to hide,
Matters of love, and sometimes hate
Fuel the fires that create.
Before he knows what has occurred
He does what surely is absurd.
On paper writes for all to read
What normally none would see.
Perhaps it's good that through his hand
The worlds begins to glimpse the man.
For once unveiled in form of poem
His true identity is shown.
