Unwanted Poem by Carike Klokow

Unwanted

Rating: 5.0

Into this world with a curse upon my name
for wherever i walk i have to crouch in shame
people staring pulling their faces
different colours different races

I did not bring life to myself
i cannot erase what you see
im not a monster not a beast
im just being me

For acceptance is the key to joy
which is why i stand upside down
just a scared lonely boy
living alone with a constant frown

Please help me, take me in
afraid and alone is what i am
make me part of your kin
we ll do it slowly dram by dram

Help me change, i know i will
of that i am sure
infront of you i ll stand still
while we figure out my cure
