Unwanted Crows Poem by Jay Hall

Unwanted Crows

Many strange birds
line rip rap & shore
Looking for trouble
and their next pour

Hodgepodge of
cretins & drifters
Unsavory deeds
cons & grifters

From whence they flew
covers many a state
To feed or flush them
rages local debate

Spare a dime lend a meal
Vicious circle ferris wheel

Chase & arrest move along
Every choice right & wrong

Vagrants and bums
some mentally unstable
Can they work
or are they unable?

One thing is certain
everyone knows
This town's got a murder
of Unwanted Crows
