Unwind Poem by Anne Firefly

Unwind

Rating: 5.0

I have been gone for three years,
But somehow you still roam in my mind.
I cannot handle these tears,
I want to lose myself and unwind.

I am under your spell even when I am gone.
I want to break free from these ties,
But become yours until dawn.
You are full of nothing but lies.

I cannot overcome your empowerment.
I want to be free of your games,
But I can only see the past, and not the present.
Someday I will extinguish these flames.
