Up The Ladder Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Up The Ladder

Rating: 5.0

World was never apart
As I was very much a part
I dreamt of very good start
For that I was damn eager and looked too smart

I wanted to fly in air
But found no means as very fair
They looked distant and very far
Still I considered my self as shining start

I may come out in night to hear the sound of plane
It may zoom in air and suddenly be gone
How come then those dreams come true?
All the times I was thrilled to see the plane's view

Not all children may have same kind of fancy
But certainly it is common tendency
At certain stage you may dream of becoming a person
With high status. Renowned figure and worthy son

It may sometimes not materialize in real terms
You may get set back and chose carrier of not liking in turn
Yet you may never feel dejected
As it was known to you if you were ever rejected

Dreams help a person to think high
Never to fall back and constantly try
If ever that failed to take off from the ground
Then there were so many options to be found

It kept me in high spirit with only one aim
Never to aim too far and highly claim
If those dreams were likely to disappoint
Where as there may be main in the field as true claimant

I think of the valiant efforts in this direction
As child you are rudderless and fall short of actions
You need some one to take you up the ladder
At that time you will simply be the no leader
