Upon The Fading Embers Of Sanity

Rating: 5.0

upon the fading embers of sanity,
broken, blood red, burnt.
heart so hot,
it had run out of heat.
melted emotions,
oozed onto the blackened ground,
seeping deep down,
into the lonely soil,
Turmoil turmoil,
such damned turmoil.
my hope
rose with the misty smoke,
expelled from earth,
carried on the winds of lost souls,
across sleeping lands,
and violent sea's
Gods waiting with gaping mouths,
waiting for me and a miilion
other lost souls.
