Upon You! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Upon You!

Rating: 4.5

One man's meat is another man's poison,
With pagan rites in church festivals;
And, with Satanic symbols everywhere in the land.

Youths and maidens,
With fleshly lust like the lady of the sea;
As the axes of evil fell on the people without understanding.

A metaphor!
But, let us distinguish between the right and the wrong;
for, the sun's worshipping cults are everywhere.

Upon you!
A little wine mixed with water helps in stomach problems;
But, you've now taken into drinking to justify your case in the name of your culture.
