Utterance Poem by Randy Briggs

Utterance

Rating: 5.0

Eros calls unto
Persephone for
intimacy, how
one not to
creep along the
defining line.
Hathor sheds a tear
for Master Theodoric's
'Saint Luke' how the
imagery and religious
iconography
baffle (the mind) .
I penetrate deeply into
her as I stroke
her hair and she
pulls unto my hips
a deeper thrust and
Daumier's 'Rue Transonain...'-
The Five Children
of the Earth and Sky
conflicting for deceit
and she comes and
I remain outside until
thy seed is spilled
and Amiens Cathedral
falters to the ground.
