Can I ever find the end of a rainbow when it is a circle?
Can my shadow form without a little light?
Can I really stay still without a free trip around the sun?
If I'm not near, can your tree fall without making a sound?

Can I disappoint the moon when my intentions are true?
Can I disappoint you without knowing why?
Can the magical dance I see in your soul become anew?
Do you see me as an Apache or an Egomaniac?
If I hurt you, I beg forgiveness…like a dog on the ground,

My heart is completely given to you…I pray it is enough.
If I don't respond with the right words, I am unlearned.

I know I'm not proper.
I know I'm not polite…but my love is pure.
I believed every word you told me…every poem you wrote me,
Every kiss you gave me…I will never take that for granted.
