Valentine My Sweet Valentine Poem by Leaking Pen

Valentine My Sweet Valentine

We have our monuments
Forgive me for I am but human
Like a tension cable
I tried to keep us tight
But all that tug and pulling
Finally I just snapped
Does that mean I do not love you?
On the contrary,
I'll give up my life to protect you
My limits have exceeded
The tolerance of daily pain
Like the moth attracted to the light
Or bees to the flowers
I cannot help myself in spite of myself
Is this love addiction taking its toll?
Has the Sun run out of solar flares?
Or has the moon stopped reflecting the light?
Never my love, like them I will always be here
Waiting for your return
For as long as the tide goes out at daybreak
It surely returns at nightfall
I will always be here for you
Waiting like the earth's rotation
You're my centre
I love you
My valentine my Sweet Valentine!
