To see you gives my world a start-
An arrhythmia for my poor heart!

The adrenaline rush to my vena cava
Makes you more stimulating than a pot of java!

I'm flustered. I shake. I think I am
Scheduling myself for a cardiogram.

Both reason and emotion are in a constant tussle
The strain's too much for this heart muscle.

And perhaps you'll think I am quite insane
But, I hope I have not loved in 'vein'.
