Valentine's Day Poem by William Brooks

Valentine's Day

Roses are red,
Hearts are too.
The only thing I want this Valentine's Day,
Is to be with you.

Violets are blue,
But only for a while.
My heartbeat gone wild from you,
Turned up on loves speed-dial.

Tulips are yellow,
Just like the Sun.
I will love you,
Till time is done.

Daisies are white,
The embodiment of light.
With you here by me,
The days are always bright.

Of all these flowers,
In all their beauty,
From all the aromas they give for free,
And all the shades and hues,
There is nothing more right,
Nothing more priceless than
Spending this Valentine's evening
With you
