I remember how nervous I was then;
I'd thought of ways to get closer to you.
In my eyes, you're a tantalizing gem;
I never thought that I would get a view.
It feels like before when you are near to me;
The moment that I have long awaited.
You were up close and I am at your feet;
All the inferiority faded.
It pains me to know you keep your distance;
You always thought you would destroy my soul.
It's like you feel bad for my existence;
I just hope you know that you made me whole.
