Value Fever Pitch: An Artist’s Time

Polite and to the problematic point.
Anyone who thinks believes
an artist’s time is worthless,
is definitely a person an artist
should avoid; such individuals
cannot comprehend
or remotely understand
aesthetic value of art.
Art takes time to produce.
Vision and artistic skill takes
even longer to realize to attain
expanding horizons. Time costs.
Artists of differing genre value
appreciate each other and art
which suits their temperament.
To create art
is the life blood
of an artist.
The air we breathe
is the home of art.
Creativity is our fevered mind songs
we sing in a legacy of image visions.
What kind of a con artist wants
to steal bread from an artist’s mouth;
therefore limiting the quality quantity
of future works of art, to be produced
by that artist. Answer an enemy of art.

This is true but sometimes they do make a fools mistake. A contract that demands plenty for so little. Me personally I do this for free currently because I have a job that pays the bills. It is a hobby to me, always has been. I work with my back, shoulders, arms, as well as my hands. Time limited sticks me behind so many others. Yet I don't care, for I do not desire fame and fortunes. But instead actually enjoy what I do. I feel as if I making glue that holds a painting together. The creation of something all in ones mind. A satisfying feeling envelopes me as I write them one at a time. A victory upon this paper, this something I indeed savor. I do reread and reread trying to perfect each and everyone of them. But for the sake of being correct and perfect. Even though I know each one has its own flaws. That what make it really unique. Even the favored critique tells I'm wrong. Sometimes thats the way you want it. I would like to thank you for such a wonderful write that reminds us that art can never be measured in a few cents, for it actually requires work, even with greatest passion it is still very time consuming. I wrote the poem 'Graffiti Poets Scribble Scripts Fast', inspired by a comment on my poem 'Value Fever Pitch: An Artist's Time', by the poet Ace Of Black Hearts and dedicated to Ace Of Black Hearts.
An exceptionally beautiful artistic heartfelt reply, I also write for similar reasons, but will sometimes submit an unproofed draft, with a possible few spelling errors knowing that limited time, means I will never get back to that poem.
