Veil Of Tears Poem by Vision Ghost

So many lost words spoken that find no meaning
In the sudden breaking of this heart again unwavering
To what lyrics of love as its delicate feelings heard
So much said and now everything remains so absurd

But still that was over a year in this times passing
Yet so very real as the bleeding inside still continuing
I’m still haunted by your eyes in my very dreaming
And knowing you belong to another now so loving

His body that feels the arms I once craved so much
And falls to a rested sleep witnessed to your touch
A photograph I yield serves nothing more but pain
As I see your face staring back at me and I strain

To hold this all inside as my heart screams for you
Every waking moment to every dying day it’s true
Memories unwelcome as the flooding so breaks me
And so I consider the future for when I will be free

Free of this dark veil of tears that shrouds my world
Hiding the pain behind these eyes, my heart unfurled
I wish I cud exhume in flames this past of my life
When paradise I tasted was so short now in strife

My soul that has lost the singing of the voice then
It sang loud to my heart another time way back when
In my arms I held you and I finally felt I held forever
Though in my memories you remain with endeavour

To try and forget about you but I simply just can’t
No matter what sun shines or stars exhale I just can’t
Why did you love me so much to tear away from me?
The moment when my breath was lost and I couldn’t see

The day I cannot forget when all was so suddenly lost
And my shattered heart inside was the heaviest cost
For knowing the love so true and emotion so sincere
I walk toward each day in the acknowledgement of fear

That you’re gone forever and my heart cries to the lonely
How much could you have ever hurt me so uncaringly?
When I face the world without your song inside to refrain
As dreams of you have now become my nightmares again
