Verbally Ignorant Cheese Poem by charles carrelli

Verbally Ignorant Cheese

Rating: 5.0

Put down hate, put down anger, put down bitterness, put down negativity.
Put down the chains that bind us to the ground, and let everything that’s holding us down collapse. Let it turn into rubble beneath our feet so we can walk freely once more.
Give back meaning to these dreams to these words we speak so ignorantly.
Put down our bleak rivalries, put down petty jalousies, put down pity.
Put it down so that those that are born into this dark world have a bright light to guide them. So that no child will ever have to feel the harsh pains, that we have all felt so many times before.
So put it down, and instead pick up hope, pick up love, pick up compassion and acceptance. Let our words spread throughout this nation and every other. Let no man stand beside another without lending a helping hand. If we can all share only one word, let that word be unity.

The Cheese of Unity, yes I think I can smell it now. Actually you present some worthwhile thoughts in a unique fashion with of course a most interesting title. Thanks.
