Vesuvius Poem by Mick Law

Vesuvius

Vesuvius now that is a volcano
Smoking and bad for your health
Ready to blow and did you not know
It's done it before and it'll do it again
Cos I've seen all the faces on plaster cast men

Pyroclastic clouds coming Mater
No worries my son we'll see it later
Lets curl up in a ball for ten hundred years
Then get roughly dug up for tourists to leer
