I'm a veteran.
I've lead daring sorties
Won back cowering prisoners
Suffered defeat.
I see a lot of that.
But my battles aren't broadcasted,
Those anchors on the news
Don't tell it how it is.
Our fight is not against people
But agains principalities
Against powers
Against the present rulers of darkness.
We aren't alone, though.
Our King gives us the victory.
Under His banner we are protected,
He has won the war.
Hallelujah!
Come, Lord Jesus, come,
Let us enter Your rest.
