Visions Of Love Poem by Laquory Jones

Visions Of Love

Rating: 5.0

I sit and think sometimes I would sink
What makes me see pink it is all the
Things we had thought about and
Breaking up kept popping out rising
Doubt and then you would shout why
Are you ignoring me I would drift
Searching for an uplift as my mind
Was scared stiff while tearing rifts

But inside you are spiff I would never
Let you jump off that cliff remember
No slips but still tears begins to drip
You would always say I was your Haven
Tis you was Mine no matter what Life
Throws at you the pain always hurt but
sometimes not loving you always hurt
A tad worse as the inner-self disperse
It must have been our blessing and a
Curse what was our relationship truly
Worth must have been girth lifting it
From the grounded dirt I valued you
More than Life itself it is what you had

Always said I took it like a sack of grain
Upheld it deep inside the brain between
Both lanes of veins and Somehow it keeps
Me sane your voice became in sync to the
Head Now lets break bread somehow it
Keeps me sane I wouldn't ever want our
Love to die in vain so many times I have
Hated Life but it provides insight now I
See the guiding Light taking flight I'm
Scared of These heights as it changes
In front of me and this will always be the
Setting Trends for the next centuries but
Don't forget your soul is the key to its
Centerpiece your heart never let it depart
As I drop on both knees hear my pleas
Don't ever let society erase what you
Mean to me A best friend from the start
That became Life's greatest work of Art
