Visiting Poem by Irene C S ClarkHogg

Visiting

I wander in a fair city
Where abundant flowers grow
Clear crystal fountains flow
And marble buildings glow
For there is no graffiti.

I gaze up at a myriad stars
So bright through unpolluted air
As I walk along a thoroughfare
And find no danger, I don’t care
For there are no cars.

I love this beautiful, peaceful place
Now there are no wars
No fools with a cause
Only ever open doors
Where once dwelt the human race.
