Voting With My Legs



Between the looming sky
And the large expanse of the earth
I am a scavenger
I have voted severally
Without any iota of the dividends of democracy
Now I feel like voting with my legs
But nostalgic patriotism
Is dragging my feet to stay back
For I have no country
Other than this one
