Wait For God's Answer (2013) Poem by Lillian B. Rose

Wait For God's Answer (2013)

I grow wary of waiting; I wish my pain would end
There's little relief but it comes through the compassion
Returning to my side from heaven to love me
When I am unlovable but I am left wanting
Rebellion clouds my love with distractions
There is work to do but love requires action
The faithful wait on the Timing of God's Plan
Our God is creative and compassionate
He is the source of our sanity and security
He sends me whom I need as He discerns that rightly
He is trustworthy and He will answer us
maybe he already has but we were being loud
And didn't hear Him because we were trying to fix others
Be we let Him fix ourselves, the answer isn't quantity but quality
it is about how we use our time to increase the number of theists
On the side of a Wise God because Wisdom is from on highest heaven
We shout at evil because we don't trust it
But trust was earned by our Lord God Almighty
And fear flees when we trust in the Lord
Only the patient find hopefulness when God intervenes
Our pain and worry distract us from being loving
Christ's answer is compelling and creative
Your soul is tossed in the sea of blindness by evil
Evil wins when Good People do nothing
Evil wins when it makes us feel insecure and paralyzed
Evil wins when we feel powerless to stop it
But God is a refuge from the storm
God always answers the contrite heart
God is with us: stay faithful and patient, my love.
He answers our hearts in the manner we are most open to
And even what was taken from us to heaven
Will remind us of two spouses bridging the great divide
For one more day together blessed by the Father of us all
Who united us into one heart with two minds.
