Wait For Words Poem by Prayag Saikia

Wait For Words

My mother said to me
Speak carefully dear
Because
You are my dream
And
Your dream is still
An unborn agony
In the cacophony of the world
Lord Buddha said
Serenity is beautiful
Adore it
Fill it up
At the time of utmost necessity
With extremely controlled
Sweet words
My mother told me
Speak carefully
So that your words are not lost
In the cacophony of the world
Because you are my dream
And
Your dream
Is still an unborn agony.
