Waiter Of Hope Poem by David Yuggu

Waiter Of Hope

For so long I’ve stood so tall,
Untouchable, Unbreakable
Without knowing my gravity of scale
Although I knew one thing,
My heartbeat was on verge of shouting to you out of daydreaming
I’ve tried to sheltered my ears,
Cause when I think of you,
I misunderstand my reflection on the mirror
My fear wasn’t letting you fly away, but letting with a broken wing
Perhaps my heart spoke too soon,
Or perhaps I’ve fallen to my whispered dreams.
When I told you, “I loved You”
Now seems like a mystery with a twisted certainty and the confusion heart stills looking for a direction.
