Waiting Poem by LucyAnne Wanjiku

Waiting

Rating: 4.8

Watching you, wanting you
Yet it's all a dream to me
There is no chance for us to be
That is all I am left to see
So I glare and stare watching you and wanting you

I see you smile and feel great
Don't you know that this is fate?
Some day you will be mine
And everything will turn out fine
Till then I glare and stare watching you and wanting you

Nothing to say and even less to give
Just my boring life to live
Not a thing to attract you
Simply nothing I could do
Still I glare and stare watching you and wanting you

Maybe someday I'll get my wish
Now that's the day I really want
The day I'll know that love is true
That's the day I won't be blue
For now, I glare and stare watching you and wanting you
